Port McNeill Crews Respond to Structure Fire

The Hyde Creek Volunteer Fire Department, RCMP and Emergency Health Services (EHS) assisted Port McNeill crews with a structure fire on Monday night, November 27th.

Port McNeill Fire says a single occupant was outside of the residence upon arrival, thanks to the help of a neighbour. In a statement on their Facebook page, the department thanked EHS, the RCMP and Hyde Creek Volunteers for their assistance.

Port McNeill Fire also reminds residents that if an area is coned off, it’s for a reason. They ask that in any emergency like this, residents should stay back and let crews work.
