Chamber offers guide to businesses ahead of holiday shopping season

The Port Hardy Chamber of Commerce is offering a strategy guide for businesses getting ready for the holiday shopping season.

Executive Director Carly Pereboom says the 2016 Holiday Strategy Guide is available through the Chamber and contains information and statistics to help local retailers plan for the holiday shopping  season.

Pereboom says the biggest challenge for local businesses is fighting the perception that businesses on the South Island or online will be cheaper – which studies have shown is not the reality.
