A spokesperson for the Canada 150 mural project says the work is going well.
Pat Corbett-Labatt says the artists have already done an incredible amount of work on the piece.
She says the idea was inspired by the mural that currently hangs in the Civic Centre.
Corbett-Labatt says they are thrilled with how the work is going.
The goal is to have the mural officially unveiled on National Aboriginal Day next year.
