North Island MP Standing Up For Seniors

The MP for the North Island-Powell River has taken on the role of critic for seniors issues for the Federal NDP.

Rachel Blaney says a national seniors strategy is needed to combat the rising costs and lack of effective seniors care.

Blaney says seniors issues was one of the top issues that has been brought up to her from residents across the region, with concerns ranging from housing, health care, and secure retirement.
