The Cormorant Island Entrepreneur Support Program is bringing resources and educators to the island.
Next week, the program will be hosting entrepreneur Inez Cook to speak to the community.
Senior Advisor to Reconciliation Canada Margaret Dickson says one of the barriers for people in remote communities is getting to the big cities with these programs offered, so to get inspiring entrepreneurs like Cook to the island is important especially with the economy changing.
Cook will be speaking April 14 at the Council Hall from 6 to 8 p.m.
