The Mount Waddington Regional District opened their 25 year old time capsule yesterday.
Port Hardy Councillor Par Corbett-Labatt says what was interesting was all the pictures showing past mayors, past residents, what was happening at that time, and the number of festivals going on.
She says it gives them an idea of what to put in the next one, and how to protect the items.
The last time capsule was locked on June 13, 1991.
