Back Country Fest is happening this weekend at Mount Cain.
President Neil Borecky says there will be workshops on back country safety.
Borecky notes that once you leave the resort boundary, you’re basically on your own, so it’s important to be prepared.
Back Country Fest runs Saturday and Sunday.
