Warrior Run Begins

The Wounded Warrior Run starts in Port Hardy today.
It’s an event that raises awareness and support for the group Wounded Warriors Canada – an organization that helps veterans suffering from PTSD and other mental health issues.
Spokesperson Allan Kobayashi says it’s a very important event that helps dispel the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
Participants will travel around 600 km and finish the run in Victoria.
