Future of Public Education on the North Island

Local MLA’s believe the provincial government has taken resident’s support for granted for way too long.
NDP MLA Rob Fleming says with budget cuts to public education, the government has caused real pain to great schools, great innovate programs in the systems and are losing great teachers.

Fleming says what they need to do is to withdraw cuts, give some breathing space to school districts and fund schools at least to the rate of inflation.
