Emergency Preparedness crews are urging people to be ready to evacuate in the event of an emergency.
This week is Emergency Preparedness Week in B-C.
Emergency Coordinator Howie Siemens says there are certain key items that should be in a grab-and-go bag.
Siemens says if you’re being evacuated you will likely not have time to go around and gather belongings, which is why it’s important to have a grab and go bag ready.
