The ice is in at the Port Hardy arena, and there’s a free public skate this afternoon [Sunday] to usher in the fall schedule.
Port Hardy Recreation has posted the schedule running until December 21. Weekday mornings and afternoons are now available for school rentals, with a free public skate every weekday from 11 to 12.
There are also free family and public skates on the weekends, and a free monthly youth skate starting September 28.
