Volunteer appreciation breakfast and awards ceremony drawing near

There are still a few seats left for Port Hardy’s Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and Awards later this month.

The breakfast will honour individuals who have made a difference in the community by volunteering their time and skills. It’s a chance to recognize deserving sports coaches, emergency response heroes, youth, seniors, and other community volunteers.

There is also a category for Environmental Hero, recognizing people and organizations that protect the environment and help animals. And there’s a category for Outstanding Community Organization, to recognize groups that make a positive impact on the Port Hardy community.

The breakfast and awards are on October 27.

Visit the Port Hardy website to see the list of nominees.

Visit the event page to secure your seat at the awards ceremony.
