New Doctor coming to Port Hardy

Port Hardy will be welcoming a new doctor coming this Fall.
Medical Director for Mount Waddington Dr. Prean Armogam  says through the practice ready assessment program, Port Hardy will be getting Dr. Muthanna Kettana.
He adds he is a great fit because he has a lot of experience, and orientating himself to the system and the nature of the population.

Armogam says this program gives internationally experienced and trained physicians a job in rural areas in B.C.

He adds Dr. Kettana has signed his contract to be in the community for three years.
