The Provincial Government is making changes to extend benefits for seasonal firefighters.
Stephanie Smith with the BC Government and Service Employees’ Union says wildfire fighters will now have access to BCGEU benefits.
Smith says the change will help around 200 fire fighters this year and even more next year.
