Utilities Commission asking for feedback on two-tiered hydro rates

The BC Utilities Commission is seeking feedback on BC Hydro’s two-tiered rates.

The commission is reviewing the two-tier pricing and is gathering public feedback.

North Island MLA Claire Trevena says the two-tier rates are a problem for people on the North Island and in rural communities where there is no alternative for home heating.

The commission is accepting feedback until November 24th. Submissions can be made through the BCUC website.
