Province looking for feedback on rural schools

The Province is seeking feedback on the impact of rural schools to communities. Parliamentary Secretary Linda Larson has been tasked by the Premier to create a Rural Education Strategy by next summer.

She says the first question people are asked is what they consider a rural school.

She says an online conversation has been launched to gather feedback from people across the province on the importance of schools to rural communities.

Larson says everyone is invited to take part in the conversation. The survey can be found here and will be open until January 9th, 2017.
