Man facing indecent act charges

A 41-year-old man now faces three charges of committing an indecent act.

RCMP in Port Hardy say on June 2, an intoxicated man was arrested after exposing himself to people on a street after being tossed out of a business.

They say he was arrested and released from custody after sobering up.

Then in late June, officers say he was arrested again in connection with two other indecent acts.

Prosecutors have now approved three charges but during the June 2 incident, the suspect had exposed himself to a child and Port Hardy RCMP would like to speak with the child’s mother.

Anyone with information that will help the investigation is asked to contact the detachment.
