Orcafest 25th anniversary starts today in Port McNeill

This weekend is the 25th anniversary of OrcaFest in Port McNeill, and organizers are promising live music, food, entertainment, and fun for all ages.

It starts today with Art in the Park and live music, along with activities for kids at the Waterfront.

It continues all weekend with more live music and waterfront activities, along with a host of other events all day Saturday including the Run-PMC fun run, and a parade. Saturday closes with a late-night dance.

A big highlight will be the Norm Cole Masonic Fishing Derby on Saturday from 12 to 3pm, It’s open to kids of all ages. A booth will be set up near the municipal dock to provide info for the kids.
