Investigators on scene of plane crash in Powell River

Investigators are looking for the cause of a plane crash in downtown Powell River.

The plane came down on Joyce avenue Monday.

The pilot – who was the lone occupant – was killed in the crash.

Powell River Fire Chief Terry Peters says investigators are on scene.

The name of the pilot has not yet been released.
