District supports electric Zamboni project

The District of Port Hardy has agreed to send a letter of support for the Electric Zamboni conversion project at the Chilton Regional Arena.

The regional district requested a letter of support from council for a grant application for the Project.

Mayor Hank Bood says the Chilton arena is progressive in the projects it has already done.

The RD is expecting to learn whether or not it has received the grant at the end of February.
