Smaller Communities Infrastructure

One of the biggest issues that smaller communities throughout the province are facing is infrastructure funding.
Municipal leaders gathered together at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities meeting to discuss this, along with other topics.
North Island – Powell River MP Rachel Blaney was on hand for the event.
She says that sometimes smaller communities do feel left out when it comes to federal spending.
Blaney says the feds will work to figure out how to spread money evenly throughout the country to make sure all communities receive the funding they need.
