Improving the Treaty Process

The three key players in treaty negotiations in B-C are moving forward on making the process quicker and more efficient.
The First Nations Summit, the provincial government and the federal government have developed a path forward to improve the negotiation process.
Summit spokesperson Robert Phillips says he believes having these agreements in place will help to enhance rural British Columbia.
Phillips says one of the other goals is to increase public awareness of the treaty process and its importance for all the people of B-C.
